For years, a woman struggled with internal questions, receiving diagnoses of ADHD, OCD, and anxiety, yet still feeling fundamentally different. A chance conversation about a former classmate's autism diagnosis sparked her own research.

Recognizing herself in autism's descriptions, particularly the feeling of constantly adapting to social norms, she sought a formal evaluation. Despite a challenging, sensory-overloaded diagnostic appointment during the pandemic, the confirmation of her autism diagnosis at 31 brought profound relief and clarity.

This newfound understanding empowered her to stop 'masking' her true self. She launched the YouTube channel 'Mom on the Spectrum' to share her experiences, fostering a community for other autistic adults. A viral video on autistic traits in women propelled the channel to over 360,000 followers, validating her decision to trust herself and embrace her authentic identity.
