The DecisionDx-Melanoma test translates risk prediction into specific management actions for patients with cutaneous melanoma. The test provides three distinct results designed to guide clinical decisions.

For early-stage patients, the Class Result directs ongoing surveillance and imaging strategies. The i31-SLNB result offers a personalized likelihood of sentinel lymph node positivity, aiding referral decisions. For node-negative patients, the i31-ROR result identifies those with a high risk of recurrence despite a clear sentinel lymph node biopsy.

These risk assessments enable clinicians to act decisively, prompting surgical referrals for higher-risk cases or supporting appropriate de-escalation to avoid unnecessary procedures.
