The World Health Organization has declared the ongoing Ebola epidemic in Central Africa a public health emergency of international concern.
As of May 22, more than 800 cases have been reported in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including over 180 deaths. Two cases and one death have also been confirmed in Uganda, all linked to recent travel from the DRC.
