Wyoming health officials have issued a measles exposure alert for visitors to Grand Teton National Park and surrounding areas.

Potential exposure occurred at the Colter Bay Convenience Store and Cabin Office within the park on July 7. Additional exposure sites in Teton County include a Smith's Food and Drug and a Wendy's restaurant on July 5.

The alert follows the confirmation of a second measles case in Teton County. Measles is a highly contagious respiratory disease.

Anyone present at the listed locations during the specified times should monitor for symptoms for 21 days. Those who develop symptoms are advised to call their healthcare provider before seeking in-person care to prevent further spread.
