Health officials in Toronto are warning the public of possible measles exposure after a travel-related case.
The exposure is linked to visits at Scarborough Health Network General Hospital and the Markington Family Care and Walk-in Clinic.
Officials say the public may have been exposed at the hospital's emergency waiting room on June 28 and its kids out-patient clinic on June 30. Possible exposure also occurred at the walk-in clinic on June 29.
Anyone exposed should verify their vaccination status and monitor for symptoms like fever, runny nose, cough, and rash until July 21. Parents of infants under one year are urged to contact Toronto Public Health immediately.
The agency notes five measles cases linked to international travel have been confirmed this year.
