The UK's National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has opened a public consultation on draft guidance for ex situ liver perfusion devices. These devices are used to preserve deceased donor livers prior to transplantation.
Healthcare professionals, registered stakeholders, and the public are invited to comment on the draft recommendations, which were developed after a review of evidence and expert opinion by the Medical Technologies Advisory Committee.
Comments must be submitted through the online consultation document. Feedback will inform the final guidance.
