Steve Beuerlein, a Super Bowl champion quarterback, is now using Artificial Intelligence to help detect potential cardiovascular issues early. As he's gotten older, Beuerlein has become more conscious of his health and mortality.

He enrolled in Heartflow's Gamefilm registry, a company employing revolutionary AI-powered technology to assess cardiovascular disease risk. Beuerlein noted that Heartflow's technology is the first of its kind.

"My dad kind of battled that for the last 30 years of his life," Beuerlein stated, explaining his motivation to get checked. He found the process painless, non-invasive, and efficient, with the AI technology providing thorough and comprehensible results presented via a 3D image of his heart.

The AI-driven tests provide a baseline of a patient's current condition, enabling proactive management of heart health rather than reactive treatment. This is crucial, as Beuerlein highlighted that 50% of significant heart events occur unexpectedly with no prior warning signs.

Beuerlein played 14 seasons in the NFL, notably as a backup quarterback when the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 1992. He later made the Pro Bowl with the Carolina Panthers in 1999.
