Saskatchewan RCMP responded to nearly 10,000 victims of family and intimate partner violence in 2025.

Officers recorded 5,191 family violence victims and 4,708 intimate partner violence victims. Together, those cases represented 30% and 27% of all violent crimes in the province.

The North District accounted for 52% of family violence victims and 51% of intimate partner violence victims - more than any other region.

Rates declined slightly from 2024: family violence fell from 939 to 925 victims per 100,000; intimate partner violence dropped from 857 to 839 per 100,000.

"Even with a slight decline, the levels remain high," said Cpl. Rob King, RCMP interpersonal violence co-ordinator.
