Arsenal is back in the Champions League final for the first time in two decades after a 1-0 win over Atlético Madrid on Tuesday. Bukayo Saka scored the decisive goal in the 45th minute, slotting in a rebound from Leandro Trossard's shot that was saved by Jan Oblak. The victory gave Arsenal a 2-1 aggregate win in the semifinal.

The Gunners' defense has been impenetrable at home throughout the knockout rounds, keeping clean sheets in all three ties. Arsenal conceded just four goals in the entire league phase.

This is only Arsenal's second Champions League final, having lost to Barcelona in 2006. They will face either defending champion Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich in Budapest on May 30.

Arsenal is also closing in on a Premier League title, leading the standings with three games remaining.

Atletico had a chance to equalize in the 51st minute when Giuliano Simeone forced an error from William Saliba, but Gabriel's challenge forced him wide. Atletico was also denied a penalty after Riccardo Calafiori stepped on Antoine Griezmann's foot.

Atletico coach Diego Simeone grew frustrated as decisions went against his team. Simeone led Atletico to the Champions League final in 2014 and 2016, losing both times.

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres missed a chance to double the lead in the 66th minute, but the defense held firm.

The final in Budapest promises a contrast in styles against either PSG or Bayern Munich.
