New Zealand has reached the Twenty20 World Cup final following a decisive nine-wicket victory over South Africa. The semi-final match took place at Eden Gardens.
South Africa, after being put in to bat, posted a challenging 169-8, boosted by Marco Jansen's unbeaten 55.
However, Finn Allen delivered a stunning performance, smashing an undefeated 100 from just 33 balls. He and Tim Seifert, who scored 58, built a crucial 117-run opening partnership. New Zealand achieved the target in a mere 12.5 overs.
Defending champions India are set to face England in the second semi-final.
