Trackhouse Racing's Ai Ogura won the Dutch MotoGP at Assen Sunday, becoming the first Japanese winner in 22 years.

Ogura passed teammate Raul Fernandez late to secure the landmark victory. Fernandez finished second, giving the American team its first 1-2 finish.

Jorge Martin led early but was overtaken by both Trackhouse riders. He finished third, moving to the top of the championship standings after Marco Bezzecchi crashed out.

In the battle for fourth, Pedro Acosta retired with a hand issue. Francesco Bagnaia hit trouble a lap later. Marc Marquez eventually finished sixth.
