INDIAN WELLS, California - Aryna Sabalenka and Alexander Zverev are headed to the Indian Wells semi-finals. Sabalenka defeated rising star Victoria Mboko 7-6(0), 6-4. Zverev advanced by beating Arthur Fils 6-2, 6-3.

Sabalenka, the world number one, faced a tough challenge from the 19-year-old Mboko, who pushed the first set to a tiebreak. Sabalenka's composure secured the tiebreak and the match. "I'm happy with the win," Sabalenka stated. "I still managed to win though."

Zverev, the German fourth seed, was efficient against Fils, committing fewer unforced errors. He remains on track for a maiden Indian Wells title.
