Aston Villa secured a vital 1-1 draw against Leeds United on Saturday, thanks to a late equalizer from returning striker Tammy Abraham. The goal, scored in the 88th minute, rescued Villa from defeat and kept their Premier League title aspirations alive.

Leeds had taken the lead through a spectacular free-kick from Anton Stach, a long-range effort that caught the Villa defense and goalkeeper by surprise. Stach, who has scored three direct free-kicks this season, opted for a direct shot rather than a cross.

However, Abraham, on loan from Besiktas, marked his homecoming with his first league goal since rejoining the club. He diverted a header from Ezri Konsa into the net from a set-piece, earning Villa their 19th point salvaged from losing positions this season - more than any other team in the league.

Abraham expressed his delight at returning to Villa Park, stating, "It feels like a dream to come back and play for this club again. I'm happy to be here and bring extra energy." He added that he "had to sniff around the box, be alert, be ready." The draw leaves third-placed Villa seven points behind leaders Arsenal.
