Al Nassr goalkeeper Bento scored a 98th-minute own goal, denying his team the chance to clinch the Saudi Pro League title in a 1-1 draw with Al Hilal on Tuesday.

Al Nassr were seconds away from securing their first title since 2019 when the Brazil international failed to claim a long throw-in, the ball bouncing into his own net.

The team leads the table with 83 points from 33 games, five points clear of Al Hilal. Al Nassr can clinch the title by beating Damac on May 21 if Al Hilal loses to Neom on Saturday.

Mohamed Simakan opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the 37th minute from a corner. Kingsley Coman then hit the post with a chance to double the lead before halftime.

Cristiano Ronaldo, still awaiting his first domestic trophy with the club, saw a shot fly wide after the restart.
