The Buffalo Bills have acquired wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears in a significant move to strengthen their offense around quarterback Josh Allen. Reports indicate the Bills will send second and fifth-round draft picks to Chicago in exchange for Moore. His contract includes guaranteed salary for the upcoming seasons.
Moore will reunite with offensive coordinator Joe Brady, who previously coached him in Carolina. Under Brady, Moore surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in both the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
This acquisition addresses a need for consistency in Buffalo's receiving corps. Moore, who recorded a career-best 1,364 receiving yards in 2023, is expected to become a primary target.
The trade is pending the opening of the new league year on March 11.
