Burnley fought back from a three-goal deficit to draw level, only to suffer a late defeat as Mikkel Damsgaard's second goal secured Brentford a dramatic 4-3 Premier League victory on Saturday.

Brentford had established a commanding 3-0 lead within 34 minutes, with goals from Damsgaard, Igor Thiago, and Kevin Schade. An own goal by Michael Kayode just before halftime offered Burnley a lifeline. In the second half, Hannibal Mejbri assisted strikes from Jaidon Anthony and Zian Flemming, leveling the match at 3-3.

Damsgaard's late winner sealed Brentford's first win in three league games, despite Burnley having a late equalizer disallowed by VAR.
