Luke Shaw opened the scoring in the fifth minute, netting his first league goal in over three years. Morato equalized for Forest in the 53rd minute. Matheus Cunha restored United’s lead two minutes later after a VAR check for a possible handball. Bryan Mbeumo added a third in the 76th minute from Fernandes’ cross before Morgan Gibbs-White pulled one back, setting up a tense finish.
Forest remains 16th on 43 points.
