Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will miss the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury. Egypt national team director Ibrahim Hassan confirmed the setback on Saturday.
The Egyptian talisman was injured in Liverpool's 3-1 Premier League win over Crystal Palace and will require four weeks of treatment. Salah's departure from Liverpool at the end of the season is already confirmed.
This season, Salah has recorded 12 goals and nine assists across all competitions. He is expected to be fit for the 2026 World Cup.
