Mondo Duplantis has once again redefined pole vaulting, setting his 15th world record by clearing 6.31 meters at the Mondo Classic indoor meeting in Uppsala.

The Olympic and world champion achieved the feat, a one-centimeter improvement on his previous best, without a single failed attempt. Duplantis opened at 5.65m, progressed through 5.90m and 6.08m, before soaring to the new record height.

Pole vault uniquely combines indoor and outdoor performances under a single world record.

This latest triumph underscores Duplantis's unparalleled dominance in the sport since he first set the record in 2020.

Norway's Sondre Guttormsen secured second place with a clearance of 6.00m, his second successful six-meter vault this season. Americans Zachery Bradford and Sam Kendricks, along with Australia's Kurtis Marschall, each cleared 5.90m to round out the top finishers.
