A Florida judge has ruled that prosecutors can access Tiger Woods' recent prescription drug history following his DUI arrest in March. The records will be released only to prosecutors and not made public, according to the TC Palm.
Woods was arrested after a two-vehicle crash in which his Range Rover overturned. He told law enforcement he takes multiple prescription medications due to seven back surgeries and over 20 operations on his leg. He also mentioned a fused ankle and a limp from past injuries.
Deputies found two white pills on Woods, later identified as hydrocodone, an opioid painkiller. Woods pleaded not guilty to DUI and other charges, and he has sought treatment. He has demanded a jury trial.
