The 110th Indianapolis 500 ended with a historic, heart-pounding last lap. Felix Rosenqvist won the race by a record 0.0233 seconds over David Malukas, executing a daring side-by-side run through all four corners of the speedway-a move widely celebrated by fellow drivers for its immense difficulty and trust.
Rosenqvist, racing for Meyer Shank Racing, battled his teammate Marcus Armstrong down the final stretch. The golden rule-don't hit your teammate-was put to the ultimate test. Both drivers showed extraordinary respect while fighting for the biggest win in motorsports.

Malukas, who led coming into Turn 1 on the final lap, did everything right. He executed a perfect strategy, but ultimately, the racing gods favored Rosenqvist. Malukas is expected to learn from the experience, knowing his time will come.
The race was set up by a fuel strategy split on Lap 130, a red flag for Caio Collet's crash, and a late caution for Mick Schumacher. This sequence erased the leaders' advantage and set the stage for a one-lap, gloves-off shootout.
Beyond the front, the fight for third, fourth, and fifth places was equally intense. Scott McLaughlin, Pato O'Ward, and Marcus Armstrong finished within 0.0115 seconds of each other after 500 miles.
