The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced a multiyear extension of its partnership with the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), a global leader in musculoskeletal health. This renewed agreement deepens the collaboration aimed at optimizing injury prevention, treatment, and recovery for UFC athletes.
HSS, founded in 1863 and recognized as the UFC's first official hospital partner since 2017, will continue to integrate its expertise within the UFC Performance Institute. This includes an enhanced role at the Mexico City facility and continued presence at the flagship Las Vegas center. Dr. Todd McGrath will remain on call during UFC events, reinforcing the commitment to athlete well-being.
"Success inside the Octagon starts with a strong foundation of health," stated Dr. McGrath. "We're proud to work alongside UFC in advancing a unified approach to athlete health, safety, and competitive readiness." The partnership will also feature a custom content series highlighting UFC athletes and HSS doctors, emphasizing peak performance and long-term health. This series will be distributed across UFC's extensive digital platforms.
