The U.S. Para ice hockey team defeated Canada 6-2 in the gold medal final at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Milan, Italy, completing a historic sweep after winning Olympic gold three weeks earlier.

Jack Wallace scored a hat trick. Captain Josh Pauls led the team to its fifth consecutive Paralympic title-and sixth of the past seven Winter Paralympics.

Canada suffered its third straight Paralympic final loss; its only gold came in Turin in 2006. A record 10,755 fans attended Sunday’s final-the largest crowd ever for Para ice hockey at a major tournament.
