March 27: Mohamed Salah could play on until he is 40, according to former Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp. The 33-year-old Egyptian striker, one of the club's greatest ever players, will leave Anfield at the end of the season.

Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 from AS Roma and helped the team win multiple titles, including two Premier League crowns, a Champions League, and a FIFA Club World Cup.

"He set completely new standards for a professional football player," Klopp said. "I'm not surprised if he plays another six or seven years."

Klopp called Salah an 'all-time great' and praised their successful partnership, saying the player earned his success through hard work and dedication.
