TORONTO - NHL players are increasingly using iPads to review in-game plays, with some relying on them heavily for analysis.

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini often reviews game footage on an iPad, saying it helps him understand missed opportunities. Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki praised the device but noted team rules limit its use during play.

Seattle Kraken captain Jordan Eberle said too much focus on iPads could distract players from the action. New Jersey Devils coach Sheldon Keefe acknowledged that younger players expect instant access to video, but warned against overuse.

Anaheim Ducks coach Joel Quenneville, a three-time Stanley Cup winner, expressed skepticism about the devices, though he does not discourage their use. Toronto Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube joked that players only seek out iPads after successful shifts, not after mistakes.
