Kylian Mbappé scored twice as France defeated Sweden 3-0 in the World Cup round of 32. The victory maintains France's perfect record of four wins and sets up a last-16 meeting with Paraguay.

Mbappé opened the scoring just before halftime, cutting in from the left to fire a powerful shot past the goalkeeper.

Early in the second half, Michael Olise set up Bradley Barcola, who struck a precise shot into the top corner to double the lead.

Mbappé sealed the win in the 74th minute. He latched onto another pass from Olise, beat the offside trap, and curled a first-time shot into the net. This marks his 18th goal in 18 World Cup appearances, with a record 10 of those coming in knockout rounds.
