MLB umpire CB Bucknor faced backlash for an incorrect call during the Brewers versus Rays game on Tuesday night.

In the bottom of the sixth, Brewers batter Jake Bauers hit a liner to Rays second baseman Ben Williamson. Though Williamson’s throw to first was wild, Bauers clearly touched the base. Bucknor ruled him out - a decision swiftly overturned after video review.

The missed call drew chuckles from players and fans alike. Former Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain commented on social media, calling the error "so bad you just have to laugh."

Despite the controversy, Milwaukee won 6-2. Bauers went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI. Teammate Gary Sanchez also homered.
