MotoGP has officially postponed the Qatar Grand Prix from April to November. Organizers cite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East as the primary driver.

The Lusail International Circuit event shifts to November 8, aiming to protect the broader championship schedule. The Portuguese and Valencia rounds have also moved to late November.

While upcoming races in Brazil and the United States remain unaffected, the disruption extends to Formula One. That series also canceled its April events in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi currently leads the standings following the Thailand opener.
