LONDON - Karolina Muchova has reached her first Wimbledon final after a dramatic victory over American Coco Gauff.

The Czech 10th seed saved a match point in a 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (12-10) thriller on Centre Court. Muchova's win continues a remarkable run for Czech tennis, with the nation having produced two of the last three Wimbledon champions.

Muchova, who suffers from a grass allergy requiring medication, displayed a versatile game against the seventh-seeded Gauff. After winning the first set, she faced a determined comeback from Gauff, who forced a decider.

The final set was a showcase of powerful baseline exchanges. Gauff had two opportunities to break serve at 4-4, but Muchova held firm. In the decisive tiebreak, Muchova produced a spectacular diving volley and lob to earn her first match point. She clinched the victory when Gauff's forehand found the net.

Muchova will await the winner of the second semifinal between Linda Noskova and Marta Kostyuk for a potential all-Czech final.
