Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes sparked a 2-1 comeback win over 10-man Crystal Palace, propelling the club to third in the Premier League. Fernandes converted a penalty before his freekick was headed in by Benjamin Sesko.

Palace initially took the lead early in the match. However, after Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix received a red card in the 57th minute, Fernandes equalized from the spot. Sesko then sealed the victory eight minutes later.

The win extends interim boss Michael Carrick's unbeaten streak to seven matches.
