Orlando City has signed forward Antoine Griezmann from LaLiga side Atletico Madrid. The deal begins in July 2026, both clubs confirmed Tuesday.
Griezmann, 35, joins on a contract through the 2027-28 season with an option for 2028-29. He departs as Atletico's all-time leading scorer, recording 211 goals across all competitions during two stints.
The French star has tallied 298 career goals and 132 assists in 792 professional appearances for Atletico, Barcelona, and Real Sociedad. This season, he has registered 13 goals and four assists.
A 2018 World Cup winner, Griezmann earned 137 caps for France, scoring 44 goals. He holds the national record for most consecutive appearances-84-over seven years.
"I look forward to making Orlando my new home, meeting the supporters, feeling the energy at Inter&Co Stadium, and giving everything I have to help the team achieve great things," Griezmann said in a statement.
