Professional golfer Andrea Pavan has been hospitalized after a serious accident in South Africa. Pavan, 36, fell down an elevator shaft in his hotel near Cape Town, sustaining multiple injuries. He underwent extensive surgeries for his back and shoulder.
The incident occurred when Pavan called for an elevator, but the cab had not arrived. He stepped through the open doors, falling three stories. Pavan is reportedly in good spirits and thankful to be alive.
