Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique credited his team's belief and resilience after they secured a commanding 4-0 aggregate victory over Liverpool to reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Despite facing pressure at Anfield, PSG's Ousmane Dembele scored twice in the second half, leading to a 2-0 win that showcased the hallmarks of their European campaign.

"It's difficult to defend the Champions League," Enrique stated, "but we're here again and we need to make the most of these opportunities."

Enrique emphasized the squad's confidence over any "aura" of being holders. "You can see what sort of team we are, we've got a lot of belief and a lot of confidence," he said.

He noted that Liverpool's need to attack played into PSG's hands. "They had to take a lot of risks and that meant we could load the counter-attack and kill the match off," Enrique explained. "As soon as we scored the first goal, that changed things."

PSG will face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals. Enrique expressed no preference, stating, "We deserve to be there and we're going to make the most of it."
