Phil Mickelson will miss the Masters Tournament next week due to a personal health matter involving his family.
The six-time major champion stated he would be out "for an extended period" while his family navigates the situation.
Mickelson, who previously skipped the 2022 Masters during a self-imposed break, had recently returned to LIV Golf action following a hiatus earlier this year.
The Masters is set to take place April 9-12 at Augusta National Golf Club.
