LENS, France - Paris St Germain clinched a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title Wednesday, defeating second-place Lens 2-0 in their penultimate match of the season.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and substitute Ibrahim Mbaye added a stoppage-time goal. The victory gives PSG 76 points, unassailable ahead of Lens's 67.
It's PSG's 14th Ligue 1 championship, extending their record as the most successful club in French league history. The Parisians advance to the Champions League final later this month.
