Liverpool missed a chance to re-enter the Premier League’s top four after Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison netted an 89th-minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Dominik Szoboszlai opened the scoring with an 18th-minute free kick, but Liverpool struggled for control and composure throughout.
Richarlison - a former Everton forward - posed a persistent threat and fired a low shot past Alisson to salvage a point.
The result leaves Liverpool fifth with 49 points from 30 games. Tottenham remain 16th with 30 points - one above the relegation zone.
