Jon Rahm's participation in the 2027 Ryder Cup is secured. The Spanish star and the DP World Tour have reached an agreement that clears the way for him to represent Europe at Adare Manor in Ireland.
Rahm will pay outstanding fines-reportedly around $3.33 million-for playing LIV Golf events without permission. He also agreed to participate in specified DP World Tour tournaments this season, outside the majors.
Earlier this year, Rahm had called the DP World Tour's approach "extortion" after it granted conditional releases to eight other LIV players but not to him. Now, both sides say the stand-off is over.
The 2027 Ryder Cup is scheduled for September 17-19 at Adare Manor.
