Sevilla FC has finalized an agreement to acquire centre-back Arouna Sangante from Le Havre AC without paying transfer fees. The Spanish club secured the 23-year-old Senegalese defender on a five-year contract running through June 2031.
Sangante’s current deal expires in June 2026, allowing Sevilla to sign him as a free agent despite an estimated market value of €8 million. The contract includes a €50 million release clause, signaling significant confidence in the player's long-term potential.
The defender has been a fixture in the Le Havre first team since 2021 and currently serves as club captain. This acquisition marks Sevilla’s third confirmed signing for the upcoming 2026-27 season following previous interest during the January window.
