Mikaela Shiffrin has once again reached the pinnacle of alpine skiing, securing the gold medal in the women's slalom event at the Winter Olympics.

Shiffrin posted a commanding total time of 1:39.10, with strong runs of 47.13 and 51.97 seconds. This victory adds another gold to Team USA's medal count.
