Sidney Crosby will not return to Canada's quarterfinal matchup against Czechia due to an apparent right leg injury at the Milan Cortina Olympic Games.
Crosby left for the dressing room early in the second period after his leg buckled during a neutral-zone hit. He received medical attention on the bench and limped down the tunnel.

Earlier in the period, Crosby was hit along the boards without possession of the puck. Canada's Nathan MacKinnon later scored a power-play goal to tie the game.
Crosby, 38, is competing in his third Olympics and holds Canadian Olympic scoring records.
