Trevor Bauer, the former Cy Young Award winner and MLB All-Star, followed up his recent no-hitter with another dominant performance for the Long Island Ducks. On Saturday night, Bauer struck out 10 batters and walked just one, leading the Ducks to a 6-1 victory over the Lexington Legends in front of a sellout home crowd.

Bauer allowed six hits and one run over 101 pitches. With 10 strikeouts, he now leads the Atlantic League in strikeouts after three starts. His agent, Rachel Luba, noted on social media that his fastball topped out at 98 mph.

After the game, Bauer again stopped for autographs and photos with fans. In his previous outing, he threw a no-hitter against the Lancaster Stormers, the third in Ducks history.

Bauer hasn't pitched in MLB since June 2021, when he was hit with sexual assault allegations. He received a 324-game suspension, later reduced to 184 games, for violating the league's domestic violence policy. He has maintained his innocence, settling one case and seeing another accuser charged with fraud. Last June, that accuser was ordered to pay Bauer over $300,000 for violating a settlement agreement.

Bauer has pitched in Japan and Mexico in recent seasons. He has said he would play for the MLB minimum but has not signed with any team.
