Torino Football Club has dismissed manager Marco Baroni, replacing him with Roberto D'Aversa. The move comes after a series of poor results left the club just three points clear of the Serie A relegation zone.
Baroni's tenure concluded with a 3-0 defeat at Genoa, marking Torino's single win in their last seven matches. The team currently sits 15th in the league standings.
D'Aversa, who has signed a contract through June 30, 2026, brings prior management experience with Parma, Sampdoria, Lecce, and Empoli. His playing career included time with AC Milan.
Torino faces Lazio on Sunday in their next fixture.
