Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League survival hangs precariously after a damaging 3-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace. The loss leaves the London club teetering just above the relegation zone.

Despite taking an early lead through Dominic Solanke in the 34th minute, Tottenham collapsed before halftime. A red card for defender Micky van de Ven, who conceded a penalty, proved pivotal. Ismaila Sarr converted the spot-kick, followed by two further goals from Jorgen Strand Larsen and Sarr himself.

This marked Tottenham's fifth consecutive league defeat and extended their winless run to eleven matches. With only 29 points from 29 games, they are precariously positioned, with teams below them showing better form.

Interim manager Igor Tudor faces an urgent challenge to steer the club away from a potential return to the second tier, a fate not seen since 1977.
