AUGUSTA, Georgia, April 7 - Tommy Fleetwood revealed that a recent visit to Augusta National with his two oldest sons, Oscar and Mo, provided a powerful new perspective ahead of this year's Masters. The experience highlighted the growing significance of fatherhood in his professional life.

"Watching the two boys, a 19 and a 17-year-old, be pretty emotional on the first tee, watching that firsthand gives you a bit of perspective of just how special it is and how much I appreciate it," Fleetwood stated. He emphasized that his children are his primary motivation, inspiring him to be his best self and lead by example.

Fleetwood, who is still seeking his first Masters victory, views achievements not as trophies, but as shared family moments. He finds that being a parent offers a crucial release from the intense pressures of elite competition. "Being a parent is the best thing in the world. It just is," he affirmed.

Participating in his 10th Masters, with his best finish being a tie for third in 2024, Fleetwood is grouped with Patrick Reed and Akshay Bhatia for Thursday's opening round.
