The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from a second consecutive NBA Finals berth after a dominant 127-114 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 32 points and nine assists. The defending champions pulled away in the second half at Paycom Center.

Victor Wembanyama managed a series-low 20 points, shooting just 4 of 15 from the floor and missing all five 3-point attempts. Stephon Castle led the Spurs with 24 points.

Wembanyama delivered an impassioned speech to teammates after the Thunder opened an 18-point lead early in the third quarter. The Spurs closed within eight but never regained control.

Oklahoma City seeks to close out the series in San Antonio on Thursday.
