President Donald Trump said Wednesday he likely will attend an NBA Finals game next week, as the New York Knicks make their first championship appearance since 1999.

Speaking at a Cabinet meeting, Trump noted he had originally planned to attend Game 5 at Madison Square Garden, but the Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers, advancing sooner than expected.

"I think I'll be going to one of the games," Trump said, praising Knicks owner Jim Dolan and the team's performance. "Great, great to see it."
