Tiger Woods blamed his recent car crash on distracted driving. According to a police affidavit, Woods stated he was "looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station" when he failed to notice slowed traffic ahead.

Officers at the scene noted additional concerning factors. The affidavit reported Woods was "sweating profusely" and had "bloodshot and glassy" eyes. He also had two hydrocodone tablets in his pocket. Field sobriety tests led police to conclude Woods was impaired, though he denied recent alcohol use.

This incident adds to Woods' long, documented history with prescription painkillers, stemming from his multiple back and leg surgeries. It is not his first vehicle flip.
