Deputies noted his slow, lethargic behavior and dilated pupils. Woods admitted to taking prescription medication earlier that morning but refused a urine test. He was also charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

The crash occurred when Woods attempted to overtake a truck, causing his Land Rover to roll. The other driver reported no injuries.
