Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather announced he is coming out of retirement after nine years and will return to the ring this summer under a promotional deal with CSI Sports/Fight Sports. Mayweather stated, "I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing." He has not competed in a professional match since defeating Conor McGregor in 2017, retiring with a 50-0 record.

Despite his retirement from professional bouts, the former five-division world champion has participated in several lucrative exhibition fights throughout his 40s against figures like Logan Paul and Mikuru Asakura. Mayweather is also scheduled for an exhibition match against Mike Tyson in the spring. He famously beat Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and built his stardom on a "Money May" persona, known for superb defensive skills and quick hands.
