Aranya Inc. launched today its cluster-scale operating system, ClusteredOS, designed to meet the demands of next-generation supercomputing. The startup announced major partnerships with leaders in artificial intelligence inference.
One key collaboration is with Hydra Host Inc., an Nvidia cloud partner specializing in bare-metal deployments. Hydra Host has adopted Aranya's ClusteredOS, a system that enhances Kubernetes into a self-healing, accessible platform. This addresses critical infrastructure bottlenecks hindering AI inference as demand surges.
Founded in 2025, Aranya aims to revolutionize AI execution. The company contends that achieving AI success traditionally requires a large, dedicated platform team, a resource many lack. Aranya highlights a fundamental tradeoff: hyperscaler services offer ease of use but limited control and high costs at scale, while custom infrastructure demands scarce specialized engineering talent.
Aranya's ClusterdOS bridges the gap between Kubernetes, distributed systems, and AI infrastructure. This open-source operating system transforms raw compute power into production-ready AI supercomputers. It manages the entire cluster lifecycle, from bootstrapping to upgrades, with minimal user intervention and supports versioning of cloud-native applications via simple feature flags.
For Hydra Host, ClusteredOS drastically reduced production cluster setup time from weeks to under 48 hours. It also neutralized recurring data center failures, cutting cluster downtime by 90%.
"A growing number of customers need more than raw infrastructure. They need a faster, more reliable path to production," said Aaron Ginn, Hydra Host co-founder and CEO. "This partnership with Aranya brings together Hydra Host’s bare metal compute and operational support with Aranya’s Kubernetes expertise, giving customers a more complete solution for deploying and scaling real workloads with less complexity."
Partners are already deploying ClusterdOS across over 1,700 GPUs for critical inference pipelines, benefiting from 24/7 monitoring, security patching, and integrations that eliminate the need for dedicated platform teams.
Aranya anticipates a future where individual developers require cluster-level inference compute, managed by an operating system like ClusterdOS, to handle AI demands within daily workflows.
